Running

I'm still at it. This is maybe the longest I've run or exercised for that matter, consistently. I am going to keep track of my miles as of Jan 1 and see how many I run in a year. I'd love to change it up---other forms of exercise--but that mostly requires a gym membership. I can't seem to get myself up in the morning to do any DVD's. I'll just keep on running.

3.5 miles today! 3 miles on Tuesday.

Raw Milk

So I recently read an article about the benefits of raw milk--and how it's better than the regular stuff we buy in the stores. www.realmilk.com And an article that says it's better to give a baby raw milk--there is actually a recipe for "homemade formula." I breastfeed my baby--but if that weren't an option, I might go for the homemade formula.

I'm going to buy some raw milk this weekend. I'll let you know how it is.

First post...

So, one of my many interests is health--as it relates to myself, my children, my family. I'm planning to blog here on my adventures in creating a healthy lifestyle for my family...one that is well rounded and balanced--but leaves room for the occasional treat too!!
